Away from his professional life, Krause spends his time golfing, surfing, and jogging. He plays golf three or four times a week, combining his love for the sport with meaningful causes.
In 2021, he took part in the George Lopez Foundation’s 14th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic Tournament.
The foundation focuses on creating lasting change for underserved children, adults, and military families facing challenges in education and healthcare. It also raises awareness about kidney disease and organ donation.
Krause’s involvement was deeply personal. He attended in support of his friend, actor Dale Wade Davis, who had previously received a kidney transplant. David was back on dialysis back then, after the donated organ began to fail, and was in need of another transplant.
